Dems Question Targetting Iranians in Iraq

The absurdity of war by committee continues as President Bush's wise and practical decision to attack Iranians supporting the insurgents in Iraq is being questioned by the masterminds of the Dems.

How anyone can not see the importance of targetting the enemy is beyond me. Yet

Some leading Democrats, including the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Joseph R. Biden Jr., and the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, John D. Rockefeller IV, have criticized the Bush administration for building a case against Iran when American intelligence agencies still have a murky understanding of Iran’s intentions in the Middle East.

Murky???

This same newspaper has a story titled "U.N. Atomic Chief Cites Iran Enrichment Plan". Perhaps the Dems  should take a gander at that.

But my problem is more than just the destructive and stupid secondguessing of this extremely sensible move. My major complaint is the attempt by the Liberals to hijack the power to wage of war in direct contradiction to the Constitution, which vests that authority in the Executive branch.

Under the best of circumstances foreign affairs, and especially the conduct of war, requires one voice to be in control, something the Founding Fathers well understood.

The situation which exists today, where partisanship  no longer stops at the ocean's edge, and everything is subject to "gotcha "political machinations , makes it all that more urgent that we limit the selfish motives of individuals from impairing our ability to protect ourselves. The American people have to demand that Congress cease meddling in the conduct of this war in their pursuit of electoral advantage.

If we don't , we are doomed to ineffectiveness in this conflict  that is roiling the entire world.
