Just to prove further [for anyone out there who still doubts it] that Liberals have never met a position, stance or belief they cannot at least try to wiggle their way out of, Joe Klein of Times Magazine [at least I think it still considers itself a magazine on some level as it continues to get smaller and smaller. I suppose "Time News pamphlet" hasn't got quite the same ring to it] now presents the counterargument to their disparagement of Bush based on his original lack of experience [see
article, 3rd item].
For those who can't wait to find out how the MSM is now going to circumvent one of their dogmatic mantras re Bush so as not to have it come back and bite Barack Obama on his posterior, the new clarion call for the Liberal pundits is that experience is not all that important, but that knowledge and curiosity are!
Actually, considering the ivy tower mentality of the Left, this has probably been their closet belief all along, and now they are finally proclaiming it. However, Bush made such a tempting target for the "lack of experience " argument that I suppose they just couldn't resist it.
But times have changed, so don't expect them to give much credence to their previous concerns, at least as far as their political darlings are concerned. Now it is just necessary for them to be curious.
And looking at the Democratic group running for President, I think it is safe to say that they are indeed a curious group.
